Custom Cards and DTD

This is a question related to building up DTD - how do people feel about custom cards? I'm of the opinion it could really be a big boon to DTD overall - add a lot more personality to it and give it much more of an anime feel - Less stagnant decks, more evolving aces, more personality specific decks, etc.

So how do people feel about Custom Cards? The most frustrating part of it so far seems to be the process of the proxies involved.

So what do you think? And I were to incorporate it, what do you think would be the best way to incorporate it? Handing out custom cards? Packs and structure decks? Combining it with deck restrictions for fully evolving decks?

I like custom cards but I know they can be a burden on the people in charge of DtD so I think we need to have a conerstion on how to regulate them.

It think custom cards would be okay, i'm just not sure how it will work.

I don't know how we will be able to duel with them, and it would take regulations to make sure that they are not broken, but I do think it will be fun if we go about it the right way.

If possible I'd like to have a meeting about DtD and custom card but, blaze and bast would both have to be present.

Blaze I can't make it at 12 due to church but I should be able to at 1 if that's alright.

I do remember Custom Cards being able to be created on YGOPro. I believe DevPro too, but don't quote me on it. If that's the case, then this entire conception would work out really really well, since there's the ability to duel, for one, and being able to actually use said custom cards in-duel without using many proxies.

I've looked into it - I've got a rudimentary knowledge of programming and it does not look altogether too difficult to incorporate custom cards into devpro and ygopro.

All in all, it'd more than likely be the best area to be able to use them.
